Santa Claus Is Coming To Town

This week, I’m taking a Christmas classic and moving it to the Garden State of New Jersey.  Three of Jersey’s finnest will be competing over the tune, “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town.”  Please listen to all three versions of the song and vote for the one you truly dig the most.

Even though 2009 was a tough year, it’s still been a good year, thanks to your continued support.  I can’t even express how much that means to me, Prowlers.  Here’s hoping 2010 gets me back on my radio feet again.

This will be the final podcast of 2009!

Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah and Happy New Year!

Gotta be Bruce, the Mellencamp of the East, for my vote. It’s the most fun version in my opinion!

Four Seasons for me, although they and the boss were both good ones. Don’t care much for Sinatra as a rule, but he did well on that one. Thanks for a nice break, Matt; I know how hard it must have been for you to divert from blues and soul. A blessed Christmas to you and CCK, and I still love your showmanship and personality, whatever you play.

Old Blue Eyes for me please. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all you fellow Nightprowlers and especially to Matt and Kelly.

Merry Christmas Matt – this was harder than I would have thought, liked them all for different reasons but went with the 4 Seasons just cuz.

I absolutely loooove Frank, I don’t care for Bruce as a rule, really like the 4 Seasons but for this song I enjoyed Bruce’s version the first time I heard it. I went with the boss.
Merry Christmas Matt and all the prowlers.
Happy Hanukkah and Happy New Year.

Seems like an odd choice of songs for Sinatra. Bruce is great as always. But the Seasons did it for me.
Matt… Merry Christmas to you and CCK.

Three “T’s”. Frank was Traditional. The “Jersey Boys” were Terrific and Bruce was Tough to listen to.

There are many great versions of this song, including the three which are competing this week; but my all-time favorite is and has always been The Four Seasons’ version.

I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season and a great year in 2010. I know much better things will be coming your way, Matt. A special thanks to you for keeping “Harlem” and “The Night Prowl” alive, and all the best to you and Kelly for a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
