Dixon falls in-between Charles Brown and Ray Charles on the R&B; evolutionary scale.  I&#8217;ll air a tribute to Floyd Dixon tonight on the Night Prowl Show (7-11pm EST) featuring a live interview with music historian and musician Billy Vera, who knew Floyd personally.
