We lost another great. Not know for his singing althought he was a good singer. Half of The Cochran Brothers with Eddie (no relation really) in the fifties. He was a force. Know mostly as Country, he wrote some of the prettiest songs of the 50's, 60's,and even up until the present. The ones he wrote for Patsy Cline and Ray Price stand out the most for me. I saw him twice live and the audience just loved him. The songs that we grew up on are all intermingled with Hank Cochran style. They just keep going on to greater glory. Don't forget he wrote "A Little Bitty Tear" for Burl Ives.
