92.5 FM KVPI in Ville Platte, LA will begin airing "Juke" on July 4th.
It's scheduled to air at 8pm CDT. So technically, you'll be able to listen to the show on KZGM and then catch it again right after on KVPI thanks to the internet.

Here is KVPI's website. http://www.oldies925.com/index.php

The news of this new show is slowly spreading. I hope to have a few more stations on board in the next few weeks.

Thanks for all the support.

Look at this great email that I got today! I had NO IDEA that I was even on the air in Bangor, ME.

Hello Matt the Cat!
We are from Massachusetts and vacationing in a rustic area of Canada and hadn't expected any radio reception at all. We were thrilled that we found a station from Bangor, ME that came in clear as a bell. What a treat it was to hear your program! Somehow we lucked into a back-to-back broadcast and busily wrote down your website and email on a napkin so we could follow up.
We *love* your show!
Keep up the great work. We'll be listening!

Sincerely,
two new loyal fans
(Christine and Neil)

Well, it turns out that Pacifica Station WERU, 88.9fm in Blue Hill / Bangor, ME is the station that's airing the show.

This is such great 4th of July news.

Soulfully,
MTC

Isn't this great news it was bound to catch on as the show is truly wonderful. May the stations playing "The Juke In The Back" continue to multiply!

"Juke" will soon debut on its 2nd commercial radio station. This one is an AM located in Maine. I'll provide more details soon, but if you live in the area close to Augusta and Bangor, you're in luck.

Matt...I grew up listening to a "Juke In The Back" at a truck stop just to the west of Atlanta.
Do you know if any of the stations in the Atlanta area have been approached about airing Juke?
If not is there something I can do from here to help the cause?

Hey Moondogger,
I have approached nearly every NPR and Pacifica Radio Affiliate about airing the show (since the show is up and distributed through those two services, it's easy for them to pick it up). I am now going to start approaching small, independent commercial radio stations. Let me know if you know of any that already air older music and I'll send something out to them.

Thanks, man.

Soulfully,
MTC

I have three commercial stations here Matt.

The first two you will literally hear just about anything that is old. And I do mean "ANYTHING"
The last one is several miles North of Atlanta and therefore has a weak signal into this area.
They play mostly 60s and 70s but I have heard a few from the 50s. They need to spread their horizons with Juke.

Best of luck to you Matt and I hope this helps.

"Juke" can now be heard on our 2nd commercial affiliate, WSKW 1160 AM (Legacy 1160), Skowhegan, ME. It's a 10,000 watt daytimer that can be heard all over Maine. "Juke" airs:
Saturdays from 6-7pm EDT
Sundays from 2-3pm EDT

Check it out if you're in the Northeast.

Awesome Excello show. Perhaps a part 2 might be in order at some point.
Glad the participating station list continues to grow.

I have been listening to "juke" at least three times a week. Can't get enough. They all have been great shows. Just soooo much information from the Cat Man that really makes it so interesting to listen to.
San Diego finally has a real "Oldies" show. It is only 2 hours on Saturday night from 9 to 11. I know that it is a small thing but it is a start. The DJ is originally from the Right Coast and does it live and takes requests. It is on KCBQ 1170 which was THE Station in San Diego during the 60's. It is talk now except for these 2 great hours.
Come on everybody get signed up for "The Cruise". We are going to have a great time.

"Juke" is finally on the West Coast. We just got added to KPOV 106.7 FM in Bend, Oregon. Catch "Juke In The Back," Fridays at 5pm PDT.

Don't worry Barry, I'm workin' on San Diego!
