This week I have the privilege to speak to one of the guys who was there when R&B; vocal groups reigned supreme. Terry Johnson began as port of the much storied Baltimore vocal group, the Whispers. After they failed to achieve success, Terry joined The Flamingos and the rest is history. He wrote, sang and played guitar on many Flamingos classics including “The Ladder Of Love”, “Mio Amore” and “I Only Have Eyes For You”. My interview with Terry Johnson will air all week on “Harlem”.
